The National Best Practice Unit Tackling Indigenous Smoking (NBPU TIS) is a consortium led by Ninti One, with the University of Canberra Health Research Institute and the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet. Providing tailored support to community‑controlled organisations funded through the national Tackling Indigenous Smoking program. NBPU TIS helps those organisations access evidence‑based research, develop local action plans, monitor and evaluate impacts and share effective strategies via training, workshops and peer networks, all to reduce tobacco and vaping harms in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
