This event also builds toward AHPA’s engagement with the IUHPE World Conference 2028, supporting a strong, future‑ready health promotion workforce.

Event summary: Pathways into Prevention is a mentoring event offering early- to mid-career professionals in the chronic disease prevention workforce an opportunity to build your network and gain insights from experienced professionals working to improve health across Australia. The event will bring together people working across research, policy, health services and community organisations.

Target audience: Early- to mid-career professionals in the chronic disease prevention workforce, including PhD students, academics, policy officers, and project officers, with roughly up to 15 years’ experience.
